FAQ
I have run in to a problem with re-downloading the five point nine theme. I changed my pin number through the crackberry system, and now this theme will not download on my new device. The phone itself is new meaning the pin # is different, however the type of phone still stays the same. Therefore the theme should still be compatible to the device. Whenever i click download it gives me a message to go back to my account and look for the upgrade price and a newer version. Even though the version is the same and there should be no additional price for the theme that i already purchased.
Mobihand must be having a problem in switching your PIN #'s and aligning the apps that you purchased. You need to contact Mobihand customer service directly to have them clear up the issue. They have done so in the past without much problem. We don't have any control over the PIN switch process and granting permissions, that all resides with Mobihand.

If you go back to the place you purchased them from (Mobihand, AppWorld) you can re-download there.

Hi, I purchased Five point Nine a few weeks ago, and have version 3.1 for my 8900. It looked like on the Overview there might have been an update? It says there are message and calendar hotspots, but it doesn''t seem like I have those features. Also, is there a way to remove the full wallpaper view? Great theme, thanks.
--New Today Area Hotspots--
-Messages hotspot located on the right of profiles icon in banner (once highlighted it will show your new messages) – then scroll down from there to select them.
-Calendar hotspot located up from the profiles icon in top banner – one highlighted will show your upcoming events – scroll up to access these and select them.
The full wallpaper view can be disable by bringing up the dock by scrolling up on your trackball/trackpad device. And bring it to full screen mode by scrolling back down all the way.
And your welcome :) !
What is the change log for the now named Five Point Nine v3?
New Dot Dock lets the user know which Icon pack they are looking at and the arrow lets them know just how to get back...
We also removed the stroke seems in the banner and the dock areas to keep it blended to differ the theme from the actual OS.
Purchased this and downloaded but can't find application. I am using Storm 9530 w/OS 5.0
Please contact support@wjddesigns.com so we can help you. And when you do please include what application you are writing about, thanks!
I was wondering if the os 6.0 theme would work on the blackberry curve 8330 with os 5.0.0.438 and if so would there any problems with it, if you haven\'t im open to try it.
No at this time OS 6 has only been released for the 9700, 9600, 9500 and the 8900 series phones.
It will not download on my phone
what will not download
i like to buy clockwork animated theme in mobihand, what i should choose for my 8520?
8530 version
is there a memory leak with OS 6 on the storm?
No there is no leak with OS 6. Memory leaks are almost never caused by themes themselves. They are usually the culprit of applications hung open in the background that you are unaware of.
Is there a way to remove the clock app in the "SIX" theme? I don't use it, never purchased it and it is still running in the background.
Right now the only way to delete the clock and/or calendar app is by deleting the theme, we are working on a way to implement an uninstaller with an update soon to correct this issue. I do want to remind everyone that both of these applications can be purchased for only $ .99 through the applications inside the theme. Trial was stated before download as well. So basically hang back and you will see an update shortly, thanks!
On the Six theme version 2.1, whenever I try to touch the 3rd icon in any given row on the homescreen, it will not respond and keeps openeing the message app. I try 2-4 times to touch the icon and nothing. I have to keep trying and then leave my finger on the icon for a second for it to respond, very annoying. Is there a way to fix this?
I would suggest uninstalling the theme which result in resetting the device automatically. Once the device is back on and running please redownload (which will be free) from the place that you bought it from (AppWorld/Mobihand/CrackBerry etc.) Then when you download it DO NOT APPLY IT, we would like you to reset the device with a hard reset "battery pull" then that should solve your problem, if there are any more concerns please email us @ support@wjddesigns.com - Thanks!
I purchased this theme and it seems like my phone gets slower and doesn't respond as fast, could it be your theme?
No - This is a very complex question since it gets asked by every customer to every theme developer. Real truth is no one knows, and we know more about the moon then this question. Here at WJD Designs we export the theme on many devices and also in a simulator over night to test its battery and response under stress. These testings always end up to prove that the device (while running only the applications needed in the background) runs without any slow performance. Users may have slow performance when running our theme and multiple applications at the same time. We have contacted Research In Motion and they have told us that the Operating System doesn't do the best job at Memory Management which tells us that the problem is more in how the operating system deals with multiple applications and themes running together. The fact is we use software that RIM provides us to design themes. Themes are just an overlay environment that is meant to skin the default "Precision Zen" theme. It is true that we use code inside to bring forth advance animation and visuals but it still has the same method of exporting in the end through RIM's software which we have no end control on. Your best bet is to not look at the theme as the culprit but the other applications running in the background. These applications are using multiple device api's to function and the theme does not use any. If you are already scared a theme might drain your memory then you really shouldn't download it!
I downloaded a theme but can't find it, what gives?
Make sure you read the details before downloading, some of our themes require a certain operating system to be installed (example 5.0 OS) If you do not see it then you are still operating with an old OS. Please visit http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp and pick your carrier - this will ensure you get the most updated OS for the theme.
Just installed this theme. It looks nice, but almost all of the new application icons, such as opera, gmail, and google do not show up. Is there a way to fix this?
Great question. A theme has no ability to block, hide or delete any third party programs or icons. You can verify that all your applications still exist by looking in the applications folder in options. A couple of quick tips to help in finding them:
1. The default folder is the "Downloads" folder. Be sure you haven't deleted or hidden that folder.
2. Make sure "show all" is checked to see if you can find them that way.
3. Last step if you still can't find them. Delete the theme and download it again from the place you purchased it from. From time to time a download can seem to install correctly, but have hidden issues. By downloading a fresh install that almost always corrects any problems you may come across.
I saw on the screen shot for OS 6 the temperature was displayed on the messages line at the top of the screen. Is there a way for me to do that?
It is a setting inside BerryWeather. If you have purchased the full version of BerryWeather just enable temperature shown in notification bar option.
Is there any chance of a Bold 9000 (OS 5.0) version of Clockwork being done? It's the best theme I've ever seen and am hoping to be able to d/l it for my Bold 9000.
The best word to answer this is, "MAYBE" since we have multiple projects and themes we try to do and updates for ones prior out. If the device is not shown it is mainly for the reason the screen size is different which makes us recode the whole SVG. The Storm versions are normally first, than we normally port to the ones with a screen size of "480x360" then later if the want for the 480x320 devices are enough we will port to them also. Sometimes if the theme involves intricate detail we choose not to port it to the smaller screen since it will be hard to see all the details and it will make the user confused on what he or she is pressing. We are always open to the possibility but sometimes we are presented with multiple dilemmas. The best way to find out is to sit back and wait and always follow our activity on Twitter (@WJDDesigns) Thanks!
