So the Galaxy Nexus is just around the corner and I am excited for more reasons then most people. One reason is, I have the Motorola Droid X and it hasn’t been the best phone to hold on to as a primary to pass the time. My Droid X has been thrown through the wall (no joke) and have been just a phone to make calls more then any other feature. Sure I can enjoy some of the Android features but I am not just an everyday user (I Need More). Now for the main reason I want the Galaxy Nexus… I love to theme and work on roms with people, and the Droid X has been a prison to work with. Now that I will have a device that is pretty much open I will be doing a lot of projects for it that will benefit all of you. I also work with many developers for many things and having this developer device will ensure the best for testing.

Another reason why I can’t wait to play with this phone is that it is a semi dream phone of mine. After getting my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 I was in tech geek heaven in may ways. The hardware is excellent, the camera takes amazing pictures, and things just ran well at all times. I always thought to myself, “I want this but in a phone” and I may just get this experience with the Galaxy Nexus. Having no way to extend the SD card isn’t really that much of a problem since all the time having an Android device, I have never changed SD cards to gain more room. NFC and all the features of ICS will bring me a lot of joy and I can’t be more excited. One thing is for sure, Once this device comes in contact with WJD good things will happen. Can’t wait to get things started >_< !
